SA WAKAS
Last Friday Night (lakas maka Katy Perry!) my date and I went to see SA WAKAS! A new Pinoy rock musical featuring the songs of Sugarfree. Sa mga hindi nakaka alam, Sugarfree is my favorite OPM band (next ang UpDharma Down) so super excited ako to see this musical. As in! Super kaduper! At syempre super na lungkot ako nung nag disband sila..di pa rin naka move on.
Anyways, the musical was held at the Peta Theater in Quezon City. Special thanks to Theo for the directions :)

There was a photo exhibit / auction - the photos are inspired by Sugarfree songs. I would have loved to bid on some of the pictures kaya lang I don't feel okay about bidding, no guarantee na ako mananalo. E gusto ko garantisado. Taray!
A few minutes of waiting we were led inside the Peta Phinma theater. The stage was simple yet did seem pretty dynamic.
After a few minutes more of waiting..the show began! The first song was Kwarto..dahil mababaw ang luha ko, may slight slight iyak ako. Galing kasi ng performers and the songs are very heartfelt, lalo when heard live.
Here they are singing Telepono..dyan hindi naman ako naiyak syempre..
..when they performed Tulog Na, dyan naiyaka ako lalo.
Weird lang ay pinaka naiyak ako sa Dear Kuya! E wala naman akong Kuyang nasa abroad, ni wala nga akong kuya haha. Baliw lang. At iyakin, sorry naman.
After almost 3 hours, the show ended. It was great! I loved it! I would have given them a standing ovation kaya lang makitid ang lanes, bungad ako ng balcony at mababa ang railing - baka mahulog ako, ending agaw eksena pa ako.
The cast : Cassie Manalastas, Hans Dimayuga, Laura Cabochan, (the cute) Victor Robinson III, Justine Pena, Lucia David and Abi Sulit.
Everyone did great! Special saludo ako kay Hans Dimayuga who played Kuya and was on backup - he had such a great voice! Kakakilabot while he was singing :) Baka kaya ako naiyak sa Dear Kuya haha..
Uwian time came - and of course I bought a souvenir - a Sa Wakas shirt to remind me of such a fun night ad such a great musical! :)

MAGINHAWA PERO MAINIT
Last Sunday ay nagkita kits kami ng ilang blogger friends to pig out! Ang venue ay sa Maginhawa Street, kung saan matatagpuan ang kaharian ni Empi :) Mainit sa Maginhawa Street - actually kahit saan naman. Middle East na po ba ang Philippines, Kuya Kim? Kaloka ha.
We had lunch here at Friuli Trattoria. Hirap tandaan! May okay pa kung Fruitty Patola - ang cute di ba :)
Here I ordered Kiwi flavored Italian soda with whipped cream. Di man sya kape, sya ay yummy!
We shared on this serving of Margherita Pizza (Php 180)
..and Tre Formagge (three cheese pizza - which is Php180 too)
We also ordered pesto, spicy tuna and spaghetti with meat sauce.
Ang dami naming na order na food pero buti naubos naman (ang takaw ko kasi haha) I love the pizzas thought the pasta dishes weren't too remarkable.
Next stop - nitrogen ice cream from The Iscreamist! Pero surprise! surprise! after namin maglakad sa arawan, sarado (na ata?) ang The Iscreamist! Kung kelan tag-init at mabenta ang ice cream tsaka kayo nag sara, anuber!
Move on na lang kami sa Infinitea - kung saan nanira si Jun ng blinds at ako ay nag overspray ng pabango sa CR. Alam nyo na! Haha :)
After namin mag chill, okay, mag try to chill - pumunta kami ng UP para mag food trip ulit.
Umulan ng cotton! Ang saya - feeling ko nasa..nasa..kung saan mang lugar may bulak ako..gaya ng factory ng Cleene cotton!

Rain stopped (ang gulo ng weather sa UP!) and we went to Mang Larry's. Sarado pa so nalipat kami ng venue.
Snacked on fishballs and refreshing buko juice :)
"Bukas na kina Mang Larry!" sigaw ng taong bayan - kaya pumunta na kami. Si Mang Larry ata ang pinaka sikat sa UP when it comes to isaw. Di ako kumain kasi gusto ko medium rare na isaw e ayaw nila hahaha :)

After all the kain and the fun talks, we had to part ways na! It was a (super hot) yet super fun day with my friends! Til next time! :)
BIRTHDAY NI MAMA!
Later that night, after ng ganap sa Maginhawa Street ay birthday celebration namang ng aking beautiful Mama Glo! She is (sagot nya sa akin to when I asked her age) "54 ata o 55, hindi ko na alam!" Alam ko na kung saan ako mana ng kalimot! :)
We had a simple dinner at Pizza Hut - pizza na naman kaloka! I bought my Mama a cake, which she loved. Sabi nya ang saya ng cake nya ngayon pwedeng mag wish! Hehe :)
